Speaker of the Assembly Ziya \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler issued a message on the occasion of June 1st, International Children\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

Stressing that children were the most precious treasure of society and the guarantee of the future, \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler stated that they would continue to work decisively to protect children\u2019s rights and secure their future.<\/p>\n

The Speaker of the Republic\u2019s Assembly Ziya \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler issued a message on the occasion of June 1st, International Children\u2019s Day,<\/p>\n

Stressing that the Assembly was committed to continuing its efforts to protect children\u2019s rights and secure their future, \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler stated that children were society\u2019s most precious treasure and the guarantee of the future.<\/p>\n

He also reminded that it was everyone\u2019s shared responsibility to ensure that children grow up in a healthy, happy, and safe environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe place great importance on developing laws and policies to protect children\u2019s rights, ensuring equal opportunities, and creating an environment where our children can build a stronger future. We are ready to fulfil all our duties to increase the opportunities available to children in all areas of life, to help them discover their individual talents, and to assist them in becoming individuals who contribute to society\u201d \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler said.<\/p>\n

He further noted that children were their greatest strength.<\/p>\n

Pointing out that the future of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) would be shaped by the value and support given to children today, the Parliamentary Speaker stressed that they were aware of their responsibility to protect children\u2019s rights and provide them with a fair, equal, and hopeful life.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is our duty to be their voice, to secure their future, and to ensure that every child experiences a happy childhood. On this meaningful day, with the hope of increasing the smiles on all our children\u2019s faces, supporting their dreams, and joining hands for a brighter tomorrow, I wish a Happy World Children\u2019s Day on June 1st. As the TRNC, we will continue to protect our children\u2019s rights and offer them the best future\u201d \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler concluded.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
